Our story

Coming from the safety-relevant civil aviation area, CNS-Solutions offers customer oriented, innovative, and efficient software solutions with a corresponding offer of IT and telecommunication consulting services for transport, maritime and other industries.

CNS-Solutions provides technical expertise in operational management and development of highly innovative systems. This enables us to develop customised solutions with the comprehensive understanding of our customer’s needs.

CNS-Solutions decision- and data-management solutions differentiate themselves through their clear understanding and usage in safety-relevant environments of infrastructure operators.

Company formation

CNS-Solutions & Support GmbH was founded in May 2004 as a joint venture between Frequentis GmbH and Austro Control GmbH.

The excellent reputation of the two partners offered a perfect starting point.

Know-how for the operation of critical infrastructures paired with the international presence and involvement with broad solution expertise and a worldwide sales network combined the strengths of both partners.

CNS becomes a 100% subsidiary of Frequentis

Due to strategic decisions on the CNS solution portfolio in 2010, Frequentis acquired all shares of CNS.

CNS thus became a 100% subsidiary of Frequentis with a focus on consulting, and products & solutions for operators of safety-critical infrastructures such as public transport, aviation, energy and industry.


CNS expands its solution portfolio

As one of the software competence centers within the Frequentis group, CNS expanded its solution portfolio with the group-wide recorder product DIVOS, thereby supplying now all strategic business units of the Frequentis group.



CNS celebrates its 15th anniversary

In summer 2019 there were several reasons for us to celebrate. CNS was celebrating its 15th anniversary with a garden-barbecue in good mood and with cool music.

Furthermore we launched new releases of our ICM and DIVOS products on the international market.



Focus on sales expansion

The year 2020 and the following years will be dominated by sales expansion and gaining customers in new domains.
